Default I don't need to see all Contacts all the time.

I started this tread on 3/1. For some reason Reply is not working for me on
the old thread so my only option is to start a new thread. Sorry.

Rod Valentine -

I looked at your suggested items and they do not answer my need.

If this cannot be done, then please let me know.
What I would like to accomplish is to see as few line items in my Contact
list as is possible.
Let's say my goal is to only see 2 items in my main Contact list.
1 name and 1 Category - which contains 10 names.
Currently, there would be 11 lines in my Contact list.
Is there a way to roll up the 10 names into the Category so that only the
Category name shows?
When I want to see a name in that Category I would open the Category and get
the info.

Currently, I use Contacts for names and phones and sparingly for emails.
If there is no other way to reduse the number of Contacts, I will move my
biggest, least used Categories into a new Address Book. Hopefully, that will
solve the issue of having too many Contacts in the Main Contact listing.

Thank you,
Coach Mitch

You can "roll up the names" as you describe it by right clicking the header
and selecting "collapse all groups"
