I want to be able to view most recent activty date at a glance from the
contact screen. I have created a custom view, but I can not get a date to populate. I have tried using created or modified from the Journal fields, but I either get the date the contact was created or none. Is there a way to set up a field that will display the date of the most recent activity? |

the created and modified dates should work. (They do here.) While there
shouldn't be a difference when using the field from another item type, there is a created and modified field for contacts which you can use. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Vinnie00" wrote in message ... I don't want the date the contact was created. I want the date of the most
recent activity. This isn't an available field to chosse when setting up a new view. Is there a way to do it? "Diane Poremsky" wrote: the created and modified dates should work. (They do here.) The Modified date would be as close to that as you can come. Not every action updates the Modified date, however. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
