Default How to import excel to outlook with extra fields

I realize this question has been asked several time, but I have not seen a
USEFUL answer yet.
1 WHY DO I NOT SEEM TO HAVE TO MAPPING OPTIONS ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS SEEM
TO DISCUSS?
2 IF I'VE NAMED THE COLUMNS AND I SAVED A NAME IN THE NAME FIELD AT THE
TOP LEFT OF MY EXCEL DOC, WHY DO I GET THE SAME STUPID ERROR MESSAGE?
3 AM I MISSING SOME SUPER SIMPLE STEP?

We have no idea why its not working for you. When you name the range, are
you including all of the columns and rows? What is the exact error message?

What version of Outlook do you use? Are you importing to contacts or some
other folder type?

Before any kind of answer can be provided, would be extremely helpful if
details were provided along with a clear question.

#1 - Your subject line states "How import Excel to Outlook with extra
fields" - what exactly do you mean by "extra fields"? There is no such thing
as "extra fields" - each data source (Excel, Access, CSV etc) simply has a
list of fields for each row/record. There is, however, a limitation as to
what any of those fields can be imported to in terms of the Outlook standard
and/or custom fields (in short - can't import data to any user-defined
(custom) Outlook field using Outlook's import wizard).

#2 - "Do not seem to have mapping options all the instructions seem to
discuss" - which refers to what exactly? Which "mapping options" don't you
have specifically that all the instructions seem to discuss? At what point
in the process that you have followed do these options "not appear" that are
being referenced?

#3 - "I get the same stupid error message" - the error message is what
exactly? At what point exactly does this "stupid error message" appear?

#4 - "Am I missing some super simple step?" - impossible to tell what you
may be missing without identifying exactly what steps you've followed and
results of same.

Karl

PS - Would also respectfully suggest not using ALL CAPS in future.
