Default loss of history of e-mail addressess-microsoft outlook 2002

when I create a new e-mail message, to....and I type the first 2 or 3 letters
of the e-mail address, it no longer gives me an option with a list of all the
e-mail addressess stored in the history of the e-mail addresses to choose
from.
I have the microsoft outlook 2002. The history of the e-mails seems to be
lost. please let me know how I can reactivate the history. thanks

Default loss of history of e-mail addressess-microsoft outlook 2002

find and delete the *.NK2 file for your profile then restart outlook. You'll
need to rebuild it as you send messages but if the new addresses don't stick
you'll need to make a new profile.
