Default LOSING DISTRIBUTION LISTS BY DRAG AND DROP

I dragged and dropped a Distribution List from my contacts folder over to the
Mail folder in the Nav. Pane. I was expecting a new message to pop up
addressed to the the DL, but instead the DL list simply disappeared from my
Contacts folder! I did the same thing with another DL list, only this time,
dragging it over the Mail Folder, and then dropping in the Inbox when the
Inbox folder appeared, and the same thing happened. I've now lost 2 of my
DLs and have no idea where they went? Ideas where they might be? And why is
this happening instead of bringing up a new email with the DL in the address
box?

I doubt you are dragging a DL. You may still be confused about what DL's
are. Maybe you're still dragging those Folders you created that you thought
were DL's.

No, these were distribution lists contained WITHIN my contact folder, not the
folders I created outside. Any ideas on where they went or how to find them?

These were not valid DL's or you would have gotten a new message window; so
I'm not sure what you lost. Why not use Advanced Find to find them?
