AutoCorrect not working in the Contact Screen Notes Field
Home desktop running Windows XP-Pro Version 2002 SP2 and Office 2003 SP3:
on a Contact Screen in the Notes field AutoCorrect a) corrects spelling as intended b) replaces character strings "env" replaced by "environment" I have over 5,300 entries in AutoCorrect and use it extensively in all Office applications. New laptop running Windows XP-Pro Version 2002 SP2 and Office 2003 SP3: AutoCorrect does not work in the Notes filed in Contacts in Outlook. On my desktop in the Notes field I type tb and "touch base" appears as it does through the Office Suite. doing the same on my laptop - the "tb" remains unchanged. On both PC autoCorrect works the same in the other Office applicaions. Any help in getting it to work would be very much appreciated! -- Tom Thanks for the help - very much appreciated!
