I have noticed recently that some of my contacts in the address book have
somehow become skewed. IE: the contact name is followed by another contact's email address. In about 100 contacts about 20 percent of them have had the email addresses replaced in such a manner. How did this happen and is there a method to correcting the contact's info without retyping the proper address back with the displayed name. I of course would do so if necessary but I sure would like to know why it happened. |

My first guess is that you have an add-in, maybe a CRM system that
automatically relates email addresses to Contacts automatically and is messing up. I have seen that behaviour before. So tell us: version of Outlook what add-ins you have what platform (eg Exchange server) Here are some tips about how to post questions: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=555375 Regards Judy Gleeson MVP Outlook Trainer and Consultant There are various articles about using Outlook he www.judygleeson.com Canberra, Australia "Billtownsuper" wrote in message ... I have Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 Version 12 with Microsoft Office
SharePoint Server Colleague Import Add-in ( that is all I could find as to add ins in the system information screen). I use Windows XP. Thanks for any help Judy.
