Default Select Names Box - Some Display Last Name First, Some First Name F

Hello,
I recently moved one of our users from Outlook Express to Outlook 2007. It
was pretty easy to import the folders, messages, and contacts but recently, I
found something that doesn't seem to be working correctly. The user had all
of his contacts listed in OE to display in the "Last Name First" format, and
they were properly moved to 2007 that way. Once they were imported to
Outlook 2007, you can see the contacts listed that way both in the Contacts
view and also in the "Select Names" dialog box. Going forward though, as you
add new contacts to Outlook 2007, there is no way to make the names match
this format... Even if you mark the "Display As" to show last name first in
the Contacts view, they seem to always show up in the "Select Names" dialog
box with in the first name first format. This is making it very difficult
for this user to work, as his "old" contacts are listed one way and his "new"
ones are listed a different way. Anyone have an idea on what is happening
here...?
Thanks,
-Dave

Hello Dave,

with the tool ChangeNames you can correct all contacts:

http://www.outlook-stuff.com/compone...id,1/Itemid,2/

Please have a look to the program`s help for more informations and settings
of the fields "File As" and "Display As".
