Default Activities tab with a date column

Is there anyway to display on the activities tab of an OL contact card, the
date of the referenced item besides just the subject and folder of the item?

Yes. Right click on the header bar in the Activities pane. Select bottom
option: Customize Current View.

Then select top option Fields.

Find the Created field and add it. You can then slide the position of
Created wherever you want to see the column. You can do this for any info
you want to see there, even user defined fields that are in the Contact
folder.

Hope this helps.
