Open contacts (and calendar) with a double-click

Can someone tell me how to open a contact (or a calendar item) with just a
double click rather than having to right click on the mouse and select "Open"?

Used to be able to do this in Outlook 2003 but now I can't in 2007. By the
way, I'm on a new Vista operating system.
