Business Contact Manager syncronization to Palm V

I have loaded my contacts into BCM - my intent was to sync with my PDA. Now I
find out BCM does not work in windows mobile 5 and I cannot get my contacts
from BDM back into Outlook Contacts. I export the BCM file to a .csv and then
try to import it int Contacts and it won't work. Help anyone

To be able to see what a named range looks like, create a new contact folder
and put a few contacts in it. Export it to Excel and look at the results.
Compare it to your excel version.

||| Anyone figure out how to sync from BCM to a Palm?
|||
||| My second choice is to export my BCM data to Outlook contacts, that
||| syncs up
||| fine. That has proven to be a bigger challange than I expected. I
||| gues BCM is
||| a unique animal. I'm getting an error now that say I have no "named
||| ranges"
||| in my Excel spread sheet. I exported as comma delimited from BCM
||| and am trying to import into Outlook 2003 in an Excell format, it
||| wouldn't work as a
||| comma delimited file, kept saying that the file was open or
||| unavailable?????
|||
||| Any bright ideas are greatly appreciated!
||
||
|| Thanks Diane,
| I fixed the problem by throwing $40 at Chapura!
| I don't know how to set a named range. That is foreign to me at this
| time. Maybe you can enlighted me... I am coachable!
| But me problem was resolved quite nicely actually. I prefer BCM to
| plain Outlook, more like a Goldmine feel with the attached notes and
| history.
| I feel empowered now with my Palm up and running!
| Thanks for responding.
|
| Now I need to figue out why Outlook doesn't display all of my unread
| mail until I ask it to???? I'll get rid of 30 emails and have 11 left
| over, but unseen... change the view to unread mail and waa laa! Huh!
| One of those weeeks@#!
|
| Thanks again.

Can;t you open the Business Contacts folder, select all the items with
CTRL-A and copy the selection to the Contacts folder?
