Default Importing contacts from Excel, email addresses are missing in Otk

When exporting contacts from home computer Outlook 2003 into Excel and
importing from Excel into Outlook 2002, email addresses are missing. All
other contact data is intact.

Why are you trying to do it this way? In Outlook 2003, create a new Data
File in 97-2002 format. Copy the contacts into it. Close the file. Copy that
file to the machine with Outlook 2002 and reverse the process.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not familiar with using Data Files in Outlook.
Could you tell me a little more how to create one in Outlook 2002 and then
move the contents into Outlook 2003?

Why are you exporting to excel and then importing to Outlook? You're
guaranteeing that you'll lose data that way. If you're transverring from
Outlook to Outlook, exporting and importing is NEVER a good idea.

What you want to do is to create am Outlook 2002-compatible PST in OL 2003,
copy your Contacts folder to it, then transfer that PST to the OL 2002
system. Open it in Oyutlook there and you'll have access to all the data it
contains EXACTLY as it looked on the other Outlook.
