Rougue address behind real one

I try to send an email to a contact, who is in the Contacts folder, but
reeive bounce with this message:

Permanent Failu _is_not_a_valid_user
Delivery last attempted at Tue, 10 Jul 2007 15:52:59 -0000

I deleted the valid contact from the list and then reentered it but got same
result. Some time ago Outlook was corrupted and even after repairing, I lost
the address book (no enrires in it at present) and have only a contact file.
Could this be part of the problem? I would like to know how to copy the
contact folder back into the address book as well.

i was usoing Outlook 2002 but now have Outlook 2007 and problem came with
the changever.

Any help resolving this mess would be greatly appreciated!

I have more information on this strange email address. It appears that the
email does go to the correct person and the netzero address is one more on
the distribution list but remains hidden. Could this have been a hacker's
ploy?

Also, the recipent says that others at her work have received the same kind
of error but I have no details and I don't know if it is exactly the same
address.

Again, any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Rather difficult to offer any conjectures when you didn't even tell us how
you are selecting your recipient. We can guess what you are doing. Make sure
you provide a clear indication of whether you are using autocompletion or
autoresolution.

The problem of the rogue adrress was resolved. Unknown to the recipient a
program or person had turned on the autoforward in her Comcast account. This
is something that one would usually never check. It wouldn't have been found
if the address was valid.

Thank you for your response on this.

However, I would still appreciate knowing how to copy contents of Contacts
into the address book.

Thanks for your help!

There's nothing to copy. They are the same thing. Just configure the address
book view.

Thanks Russ. I guess I didn't use correct phrase in my search to find the
