I just got a new PC, and installed Vista Ultimate. I then installed Office
Pro 2003, and moved the .pst file from my old system (WIN-XP PRO and Office Pro 2003). Every thing went fine, all my mail was there, rules were there, and EVEN Contacts. But when I try to open the address book to address and email, I get an error message telling me that the "Address list could not be displayed, the COntacts folder associated with the address list could not be opened. It may have been moved, deleted, or you do not have permission... see help." The directory location in VISTA is different than the location in XP, and I wonder if that is the problem. If it is (or if it isn't) does anyone know know the solution to this problem? Hundreds of addresses are at stake. Please, and Thank you. -- Tom Nefeldt |

The Outlook Address Book service must always be reconfigured in a new
profile. Did you do so? The location of the PST file is irrelevant as long as you have reset the Outlook Address Book service. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Tom Nefeldt" wrote in message ...
