What is the information store cannot be found, error message?
I get an error "information store cannot be found", when I try to open outlook.
Can anyone help?

Only if you post your Outlook version and how you managed to misconfigure it

I have outlook 2003, I have a new computer with vista and all I did was
installed microsoft office professional edition 2003. All the other office programs installed fine, but when trying to open outlook, I get the error The information store cannot be found. Sounds like you have not yet configured an Outlook profile with a valid mail
account. Do so now: Control Panel Mail... (classic view). Something doesn't fit with your description. If you have never opened Outlook before with a clean install, Outlook setup forces you to do this on first launch.
