Restoring PST files
I had a problem with my laptop with the error mesage NTLDR missing. I had to
restore my laptop back to factory settings. I treied a programto recover my microsoft out look contacts which it found pst files. I can't seem to import the files back to outlook program. I do the following entries. File import export import from another programpersonla folder fileselect the folder to imprt from. Up to here I am ok but then get confused witht he last box of selectig a folder to import from where as I am trying to import the info from another memory source my usb stick. All I want is my microsoft contacts..can someone help em restore them please. regards buchi1604 |

If so do this. 1. Insert the memory stick. 2. open outlook. 3. Go to File-Open-Outlook Data File. 3. Navigate to the pst file on your memory stick. 4. Copy all the contacts from the old file to the Contacts folder on the new. 5. Close the old pst file. 6. remove memory stick. Job done. |
