Address Book Search
An addendum:
Now when I type in the exact name Joseph D. O'Brien, Jr. it will only pull up one contact. Except, I have 20 contacts under his name, the list will not appear. I do not understand why this is happening. I'm using this name as an example. It is happening whether or not a name has a fax number and/or email or not. I have already deleted and added a new Outlook Address Book and right clicked on all Contacts subfolders to add this folder as an email address book. "chunnel" wrote: I've been having a problem with Address book seach in Outlook 2003. This has been happening when it was installed in XP and now in Vista 64. That is that it will not pull up all names that fit the search criteria. ie; I enter in a search for "O'Brien" and it will only pull a bunch of entries under "Michael O'Brien". However, when I enter the full name for a "Joseph D. O'Brien" then it does pull up all the entries for Joseph. Why will it not pull up the data when a partial name is entered, but will pull up the data when the full name is entered? I should be able to enter in "Smith" and pull up anything that has "Smith" in it's name. However, this is showing some and not showing others, in a seemingly random fashion. This is happening for many different items. Why? |
