I recently upgraded 5 users from using a .pst file to using an Exchange
mailbox. I moved all the mail across without a problem. I also copied across their contacts...however I cannot get these contacts to show in the Outlook address book. Can anyone help me with how to add the Exchange Mailbox Contacts to the Outlook address book? -- Many thanks Stuart Seeley |

Most likely you didn't add the Outlook Address Book to their mail profile or that service is corrupt and has to be removed and added back. But we don't know that because you didn't say what you actually do see in the Address Book dialog.

Sue,
Thanks for your reply. In the address book dialogue I cannot see anything which references the Exchange Mailbox. Where in the mail profile can I add the address book profile for Exchange (2003). -- Many thanks Stuart Seeley "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Most likely you didn't add the Outlook Address Book to their mail profile or that service is corrupt and has to be removed and added back. If its any use I can see the Exchange contacts when I look into contacts. I
just cannot see the contacts when a new message is created, and the To: dialogue is selected. The Exchange contacts are not shown in the 'Show Names From the' list. This is where I need the contacfts to be shown. -- Many thanks Stuart Seeley "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Most likely you didn't add the Outlook Address Book to their mail profile or that service is corrupt and has to be removed and added back. That doesn't provide the information we need to help you. Repeating: Please tell us what you see in the Address Book dialog as it currently appears.

What do you mean by "local contacts"? Do you see the Outlook Address Book listed? Have you checked the settings on the Properties dialog of the contacts folder that isn't appearing in the address book dialog?
