Hello Group...
I've updated from Office 2000 to Office 2003. Had a large address book in Office 2000, but only a small listing showed up when I use the address book in Office Word. It is there when I look in Outlook, but can get to it in Word. Thanks for the help... Sharon |

Clarify what you mean. Outlook does not use an address book. It uses Contact
Folders in a single Outlook data file. How did you migrate your Outlook data file? Is your Contact Folder intact? Which mail support version of Outlook 2000 were you using and how did you do the upgrade? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "srcsbeck" wrote in message ... Hello Group... Sorry for the wrong word useage - I have 6 contact folders in Outlook and can
not get into them when I use Word (I could use each of them with Office 2000). There is also 6 folders with dackup beside them. When I updated I placed the CD in the CD drive and the computer did its thing - I did nothing else... "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Clarify what you mean. Make sure you've properly configured the Outlook Address Book service and that you've enabled your contacts folders as address book in their properties. -- Brian Tillman |

Upgrade installations should always be followed by creating a new Outlook
profile from scratch. Outlook profiles do not survive upgrade installations. After you create your new profile, make sure you have added the Outlook Address Book Service to the profile and then enable each Contact subfolder as an email address book in its properties. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "srcsbeck" wrote in message ...
