I have a new twist to this age old problem. I recently upgraded to a new pc
with Vista. After Installing Outlook 2003 and importing my Outlook.pst file to my new pc, I have 2 contacts folders, one is empty and the second is the correct one. I have read all the threads and tried all the cures, but Vista does not offer a way to delete the empty folder. I have set the options for the address to use the correct folder, but it does not do that. I need someone with Vista expertise to help on this one. -- Randall Hewatt |

There's no reason to do so and you lose data. I have 2 contacts folders, one is empty and the second is the correct one.
