Hello:
Since I had to install a new hard drive to my laptop, I saved, exported my contacts list to a XLS file. I opened this file and see all my contacts in there. Now I am trying to import all of them back into Outlook. When I do the steps and it completes I look in my contacts and only a few are there and of the ones that are there, they are out of order and by name I mean, plus there is no spacing between the first and last names too. No idea what is wrong. Can someone help me out here? |

Nothing to go on here. Post the steps you are using, including how you named
your range and how you mapped your fields. Exporting to a foreign file format is never a good idea and in no way backs up data. It only loses data. Do you have your original data file? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Scott" wrote in message news ![]() Hello: Since I had to install a new hard drive to my laptop, I saved, exported my contacts list to a XLS file.
