I've been given a new work pc; its been set up; I can open Outlook, send
messages, see my personal contacts in the contact folder etc. However although I can see my list of contacts when I come to send an email and click on the To: button and the list of contacts is brought up my personal contact list is missing (there is an item called contacts but its empty) Its a fairly big list and I really don't want to have to create it from scratch Help! |

Show the folder list of outlook.
Right click the Contacts Folder and select Address Book then check the box to show as an Outlook Address Book. I hope this helps you at least a little bit! If it doesn't work, come back and tell me which version of Outlook you have. Address Book tab in OL 2003 and 2007. Sometimes you need to remove and re-add the OL Address book. -- Bill R MVP "Ceej" wrote in message ... what if this option is grayed out?
