I am using Office Outlook 2003.
Help!! I want to gather vendor contact lists from 5 coworkers, combine them, clean out dupes, then allow all contributors access to one tidy new master list. Is it smarter to export original files to .csv or excel? I assume I won't have to do any field mapping when importing the corrected file? How do I make the new list available to all? Thank you |

If everyone is using Outlook, it's smarter not to change data format. Keep
everything in one folder in a PST file. You can use a duplicate checker if you need to. http://www.slipstick.com/addins/contacts.htm#dupes -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "cz" wrote in message ... Is the PST file something that already exists or do I create it?

That depends on whether you are using a local data store or Exchange server.
You should always mention basic information like that. If it is the former than you are already using a PST file. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "cz" wrote in message ...
