Can I make a distribution list fron contact list
I want to make a distribution list. The addresses are in my Contact List.
There are no entries in my Address Book. Do I need to copy Contacts to Address Book first. If so, how do I do this? If not, how do I make distribution list from Contact List |
Can I make a distribution list fron contact list
The term Contact List has no meaning in Outlook.
There is no separate address book in Outlook. The address book is simply a view of your Contacts' email addresses. Outlook uses Contact Folders in which you can create as many DL's as you want. It's complicated: File New Distribution List. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "muddlethrough" wrote in message ... I want to make a distribution list. The addresses are in my Contact List. Thank you for your reply. Next related question: When I follow the prompts
you outlined below, I cannot move or minimize the boxes which block my list of contacts. Is there a way to select and copy a number of names at one time? I was able to get a list and select the names, but then there was no way to copy them to the Distribution List. (Hope this is not too jumbled.) Thanks. It worked. I had trouble initially, but I believe it was because I
selected too many names. When I selected fewer names, things worked just fine. Again, thanks.
