Hi. I've just bought a shiny new Sony Vaio and need to get all my
contacts/emails/etc over to my new machine but my copy of Outlook 2000 (which was pre-installed) is telling me that I don't have the Import/Export engine installed. I have a copy of Office 2003 which I could upgrade to but I'm not sure if upgrading will delete the existing data. Help! Please. |

Upgrading does not delete any data.
One must wonder why you can't install the Importers and Exporters from your Office 2000 installation medium. What will your license issues be with this upgrade version if you do not have a fully licensed copy now? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Jontyonthemove" wrote in message ... Hi. Hello - On a related note to this thread, I am receiving the same error
message for the same program (Outlook 2000) when I try to export to any file type other than *.pst. Unfortunately I am trying to convert my personal folders to Entourage 2004, which will only accept comma or tab delimited files (out of the options available to me), and my Office 2000 installation medium is in box in storage far, far away. Any thoughts on how I can find a download for this 'engine' or find a pst import utility that is compatible with Outlook 2000/ Entourage 2004? Thanks!
