follow up on default contacts
You've got to remove the Personal Address Book service where you saw it
since you don't need it and add the Outlook Address Book service. That should enable the check box we're talking about "James The First" wrote in message ... yes when i go to tools/email settings/ view or change address books and then go to address books i find personal address book map 1. when i go to the contacts folder in outlook and right click on the contact icon and click on properties where the addresses are and go to outlook address book i find the name of the address book greyed out.
