I just imported a Contacts sub-folder from one PC running Office 2003 to
another computer running Office 2003. It seemed to import OK, but it doesn't show up under the main Contacts folder on the new computer. However, when I try to add a new sub-folder under Contacts, or run a search on Contacts, the new sub-folder does show up. How do a get it to show up on my main Contacts screen? Thanks, Len |

Importing is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data. You've provided
yet another example why that is. You description is too vague for anyone to help. Use Folder List view to examine the entire folder hierarchy of your profile, making sure to expand all folders. Tell us what you see. Tell us what you want instead. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Len Rust" Len wrote in message ... Thanks Russ,
I used the Folder List View and was able to find it there, but it does not show up under the Contacts View. I deleted it, and re-imported it, and now it shows up. What is the best way to transfer data if Importing is not? Thanks, Len "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Importing is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data. Just open the PST file in which the data you want to transfer resides. Then
copy what you want into the current profile's PST file. That way you won't lose or misdirect data the way you will if you import. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Len Rust" wrote in message ... Sounds simple enough.
