What's the point of the pictures in Outlook Contacts?
Is the photo/picture just for people for bad memories? I'd hoped that my
e-mails would use it; any thoughts? |

Actually, it has a very good use. If you sync your Outlook Contacts with a
Windows Mobile Smartphone, the photo gets synced to the phone. Then, when a person whose photo you have calls you, the phone does a caller ID screen pop with the photo (normally it's just the name if it's a Contact, or just the phone number if not). For those of us who are ... shall we say ... of a certain vintage, whose up-close eyesight isn't what it used to be, this is a very nice feature.
