Default List Upcoming Birthdays Outlook 2003

I have followed the tips in http://www.outlook-tips.net/ and
http://www.slipstick.com and still get a blank custom view. Anyone
experience the same and have a solution?

Here's a different way to do it. I assume you're entering the person's
birthday on details tab of your contact. When you do that, it automatically
adds that person's birthday to your Outlook Calendar. Go to your Calendar
and click "Find" then enter the word "birthday" and click "Find now." This
should bring up a nice list of all your upcoming birthdays that you can sort
by the different headers.
