After purchasing a new laptop, I copied the outlook.pst file from the old to
the new computer. The contacts list shows all my contacts. However, when creating an e-mail message and clicking the to: button I get a message that contacts can be accessed. After researching the topic, I clicked properties, selected the outlook address bok tab and selected "Show contacts as an e-mail address book". The problem now is that I have 2 contacts lists under the to: address book. The default contacts which still causes the above described problem and the correct contacts list. Bottom line is that I can get to my contacts now, however, it is very annoying to have to click on three buttons to get to my contacts. Hope I explain the problem clearly and hope someone outthere can help |
