Can't view contacts in Outlook 2007

I recently upgrqaded from VISTA Beta 2 to RC1. I have been using Office 2007
Beta 3. I exported my definations and files before a 'clean' loading of RC1
and then imported them. Now I can not see my contacts in the contacts
window. Neither can I get the app to locate them. However, when I attempt
to create a replace contact - I am told that the contact already exists. I
can see them if I select the 'business cards' window.

Also, none of my rules work any more!!

Your post makes no sense. There is no such thing as Office 2007 Beta 3 and
importing and exporting is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data,
especially with a beta. What are "definations?" If I were you I would create
a new Outlook profile and migrate your backup file correctly, all of which
is well documented.

Perhaps a little less 'you make no sense' and a little more consideration
would be nice! Sorry about the Beta 3 - I should have said Beta 2 TR (TR +
Technical Release). Exporting the user definations and control files via the
RC1 Transfer protocals and then Importing them back after the RC1 clean
install IS the correct and recommended way by MS. I cannot view any of my
contacts nor do any of the rules I have created over the past year function
after the RC1 & B2TR were installed and configured. Sorry for the confusion.

Importing and exporting are never the correct way to migrate Outlook data
and never have been. Read this group. Read the Outlook Help files.
Copy the data file.
Open it in another Outlook installation and set it as the default file for
that Outlook profile.
