Default Problem with clients Distribution List contacts

Hello

I've recently setup one of our clients with a new PC running XPpro and
Office 2003 using the File and Settings Transfer Wizard from his old PC which
was running W2k and Office 2000.

All of the users data transferred over ok but there is a problem with his
Distribution List in his new Contacts in Outlook. All the users seemed to
have transferred over but there are no users in these lists.

I've tried Exporting them from Old PC in PST format and Importing them to
new PC but still have the same results.

Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this.

Thanks
Matt

Default Problem with clients Distribution List contacts

Known issue posted countless times. The only way for Contact data to survive
transfer is to copy and resuse the data file as explained in the Help files.

Hello Russ

Thanks for the response.

Could you point me in the direction of where I'd find the Help Files. Do you
mean the ones on Outlook or is there a specific knowledge base article

Thanks
Matt
