Hi...
A friend of mine's PC came up with a slew of "lost clusters" and it took XP nearly 20 minutes to re-resolve all the problems. PC was pretty messed up but I was able to save off her OUTLOOK.PST file. From there I put the XP CD in, reformatted, and re-installed XP HOME. Then I installed her Office 2003 (Small Business I think)... and copied the (saved) OUTLOOK.PST over the newly created one (from running her re-installed Outlook once). Now... her messages show up fine... Inbox, Sent, etc... and Outlook sends/receive just fine too. However, when she wants to create a new message... she has no Address Book. How do I go about re-linking the CONTACTS folder back into Outlook?? I seem to remember something about going to the Contacts folder and selecting Properties... but I don't remember more than that anymore. I won't be near her PC til later today or tomorrow... so I can't even play around with it yet. Thanks in advance for any help!! Steve |
