missing items when importing contacts from excel to outlook

I am trying to import an excel sheet with 3558 contact entries into Outlook
2003. I have mapped the fields and the items that go in are correctly
formatted but only 3002 items are imported. Am I doing something wrong? Is
there a limit?

TIA

Does your named range in Excel cover all 3558 rows?
