How do I get telephone numbers to autoformat in Outlook

I recently had to reinstall Office 2003 and now telephone numbers do not
automatically format in Contacts. I reme\mber that it has something to do
with my area code but can't remem ber what that is. Any help?

Properly configure your dialing rules in Control Panel.
