mail merge contacts to labels - addresses don't appear on labels?

I'm trying to get labels from my contacts list - used mail merge (I could
never get the MERGE in the final window to highlite(?) - I closed the final
window and next record shows in all the label spaces instead of the names
and addresses... HELP!

You never even specified your version, let alone the steps you are using.
As a blind stab, in Outlook/Word 2002/2003 there is an extra step required
to create mailing labels. Instructions he
