I had to reinstall Outlook. Was able to locate and get my files/folders
(.dbx files) back - but can't find my "Contacts". Are they out there on my harddrive somewhere??? |

Updates should not remove data.
..dbx files = outlook express, which in spite of the rather unfortunate name, has nothing to do with Outlook. try microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general "Confused and Frustrated" Confused and wrote in message news ![]() I had to reinstall Outlook.
