Distribution list Stuck in outbox, mutliple sends
 
Twice now I have sent a distribution list less than 100 contacts and it gets
stuck in the outbox and re-sends the email mutiple times, this last time
receipents received the duplicated email 7 times. I quickly pull the cable to
stop once I realize what is happening and them delete the original message.
But I need to know how to prevent this from happeing again. I can not let it
ever happen in the future.

Note: In the past I have sent the same list successfully 3 times before.

Not usually an Outlook issue. Start by checking the limits your mail server
places on the number of recipients.
In general DL's are a poor choice for grouping recipients. They are not
reliable or robust and become corrupt frequently.
Consider using Categories instead. Most of us do.

Are you scanning outgoing email with a virus scanner? That is a frequent
cause of duplicated messages.
