I've set my home computer to leave messages on the server so I can read them
the next day at work. Once read at home, I want some to stay on the server to have at work and some I want to delete from the server. The settings seem to be global - either they all stay or they all go. An old Mac version of Outlook Express allowed me to keep the messages on the server but delete the ones I no longer wanted from within the individual message. In other words, there was a button to click within the message to delete just that one from the server. Can I do this in Outlook 2003 on Windows? |

In Outlook, enable the option to remove them from the server when the Deleted Items folder is emptied. Then when you delete an item and emptry your Deleted Items folder, the item on the server will be removed. -- Brian Tillman |

The problem with setting them to delete from the server when deleted from the
computer is that I still want it on the server so I can retrieve it on the work computer the next day.
