Actually, right after I submitted this I found what was wrong. Did not have
my addins configured properly. Maybe this will help someone else though.
Have to go through the Tools Menu to the Trust Center and select Add-ins and
then select the proper one. Now I can see the Text Message option under New
dropdown. And also I was wanting to use this to send pictures to a mobile
device but can't do that with this SMS. Know of any other way?

Use MMS or enable mail support on the mobile device (if available).

Is that feature, MMS, a part of Outlook? What I want to do is to send the
picture from my PC to a mobile device including my own. How do I configure
MMS?

No, MMS is not an Outlook feature. It is a protocol for mobile devices;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multime...saging_Service

Most mobiles today allow themselves to be hooked up to the computer and have
storage space on them. You can then copy the picture to your mobile and
forward it to somebody else via MMS. If the mobile devices are capable of
receiving emails, then you could of course also send an email directly.

Check with your phone supplier about the features of your mobile device and
which sync software and/or cable you should use in order to hook it up to
your PC.
