Retrieving email from another Hard Drive
Hi
I had a problem with my hard drive and cannot boot into my Vista OS. I have started afresh with a new HDD and all is well. Unfortunately my emails are stored on the other drive and I really need to get them loaded into Outlook on my setup? Is this possible, I just need to get the inbox across as nothing else is that important. I am not sure which folder is used to store the emails? All help appreciated. Many thanks in advance |

The default Vista location for the outlook data files is
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outloo k\ You would probably have to take ownership of the folder/file - see Vista help Then copy to your Documents folder, and within Outlook, FileOpenData File.......browse to the file Do NOT copy the file to the default location and overwrite any existing data file "Changy" wrote in message ...
