Default Outlook 2007 and macros

/altvba G:\Common\Email_Text\Systems\USERID\VbaProject.OTM i have a gpo push
for office 2007 working via script. We have a 'switch' applied after
install, to the icon thats left on the task bar thats left there after
outlook initialization. The target location in the icon is modified from:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE" /recycle
To: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE" /recycle
/altvba \path\USERID\VbaProject.OTM

The macros show and work fine... for a while, reboots done affect the
outcome... but there seems to be a 'time' issue, as overnight the macros will
not show.

any ideas?

I've seen other reports that the /altvba switch does not work consistently,
but no solutions. I would not depend on it myself.
