Default Outlook 2007 has stopped working

Out of the blue, my new computer equiped with Office 2007, popped up the
message shown on the Subject line. It then continued to say that the Outlook
will shut down and Windows (?) or Microsoft (?) will analyze the problem and
let me know of the solution. Of course, nothing happened and the probelm
repeats itself since. I rebooted the computer - to no avail. Further, I
removed Outlook and re-installed it - the same problem exists.
So, after spending a fortune for a new computer and purchasing Vista
Ultimate and Office Pro, I am left with a lame computer. can someone, please,
lend a hand and help?

Thanks, Robert, for your reply. I have Outlook 2007, not 2003. Also, Outlook
does start, but closes after about 10-15 seconds. Are the suggestions in the
article you cited relate to my problem as well?
Thank you for the help!
Ed
