Default Outlook asking to configure emails / previous configurations gone

Each time I open my new Outlook (2007), it asks me to configure email
accounts. I have already done this twice (and each time the information is
lost when I re-open Outlook). I have also lost all previous email (both
imported from Outlook 2003 on old computer and emails received and sent in
previous session on new computer).

In other words, each time I open Outlook, it is acting as if it has never
been configured and all previous information is lost.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you do not have proper authortiy WRITE ACCESS to that PC so it
can save the data you are providing. Try making sur eyou have admin rights
or POWER USER rights to the PC.

That is absolutely the wrong approach to solve this issue.

Could you start your story from the beginning?
Am I to assume that you now have a new computer and just installed Outlook
2007? Which version of Windows are you using?
Which method of migrating your data did you use?
What else has been done to the computer that could affect this?
Are you a home user or a corporate user?
