I recently bought a new Compaq Presario computer and loaded Office 2000
Professional. When I went into Outlook to compose an email message, I
noticed I did not have a Send mail icon. I checked the Tools drop down menu
and I also could not find the Send/Receive icon. I can compose messages but
not send them. The computer came with SP3 and I downloaded the recommended
Office 2000 Professional downloads and still no luck. This is getting
frustrating because my Outlook Express is now acting up and I keep getting a
pop up window that says it is not my primary email program.

Hopefully someone can help

The lack of a "Send" button in Outlook 2000 can mean that it's been setup in
"No Email" mode. You can check Outlook's operating mode from the
"Help|About" screen and this page may help"
