Default Outlook PIN prompt when sending signed email

Hi,

Is there a setting in MS outlook 2003 and 2007 that will cause the PIN to
prompt when sending a digitally signed email to yourself or another user.

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Gurjeet

Not in Outlook. You can enable strong security on your digital certificate,
however, that will force you to enter a password you define every time you
access the certificate.

Can you show me the steps to enable strong security on your digital
certificates? This information will be very useful.

One way is to export your certificate (be sure to include the private key),
delete it from the crypto store, then reimport it, checking the box labeled
"Enable strong private key protection" as well as the "Mark this key as
exportable" on the third screen of the import wizard.
