Outlook 2003 SP3 mso.dll error....
This error started popping up about a month ago and its only happening to
five users that I know of now out of 5000+ users. Event Type: Error Event Source: Microsoft Office 11 Event Category: None Event ID: 1000 Date: 2/13/2008 Time: 4:34:24 PM User: N/A Computer: Description: Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8169.0, stamp 465f28e3, faulting module mso.dll, version 11.0.8172.0, stamp 46771b00, debug? 0, fault address 0x0001f62a. The occurs when the user clicks on the Submit button of a published custom form we use to create user accounts that's in Organizational Forms, so everyone has access to it. Also, the form does err out, only Outlook takes a nose dive. The form works perfectly for everyone else that uses it wihtout issue or errors. So far I've gone thru the following steps: 1. clearing the forms cache 2. detect and repair 3. reinstall over existing installation using ( /faum pro11.msi) to overwrite all files including registry 4. complete uninstall of Office 2003, reboot, install Office 2003, update to SP3 and then go to the Office update site to get any others. 5. Affected user logged on to a different computer with same results 6. creating new Outlook profile Nothing has resolved this for the affected users amd there not any plug-ins installed either. Ideas? TIA. |
