installing from another person's DVD

I am traveling to one of my offices abroad, and need to use their install DVD
to add on Business Contacts Manager to my existing install of OL. Any way
for me to use their DVD, but find my serial number (only thing I can find in
"about" is the 'product id', which I don't know how relates to the S/N), and
then have it basically install as it should with my licensing? We all have
our own licensed copies. My discs just happen to be back home.

Thx.

If the BCM add-in is from exactly the same version as yours, you may be able
to add it without needing the serial number. If, however, you are asked for
a serial number, you must have the value from your install kit. I don't
think that the serial number can be determined from an existing
installation.

If you have *YOUR* product installation key, you can use anyone's media.

question is whether there is any way to figure out my installation key
without having my discs in front of me.
