Default Set "Contacts" as default "Show Names from the" on install

Is there a programatic way to setup the client's Profile or launch Outlook
so that the "Contacts" list is on the top of the list from first use?

I did not see a Command-line switch related to this and understand almost
anything "can be" accomplished with Outlook, so I am only wondering if there
is an "easy" method. Heh.

Thanks in advance!

Dear Dennis,

normally you can configure Outlook by creating a "PRF" file, but Outlook
Addressbooks are the exception, they can not be configured by PRF files.

What are PRF files?

"Customizing Outlook Profiles by Using PRF Files"
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/or...402581033.aspx

Maybe it helps.

I'm assuming, then, that what people get now is the GAL showing as the first
choice.

When I changed the "Show this address list first" option in the Address Book
interface from "Global Address List" to "Contacts", it changed the registry
value HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging
Subsystem\Profiles\Tillman\9207f3e0a3b11019908b080 02b2a56c2\01023d06.
