Default Configuring my gmail e-mail account in Office 2007

I've followed Gmail's guide for Outlook 2003, and it's pretty much the same
for 2007. However, Outlook wont recognize either my user name or password.
I know for a fact that both are right, and I don't understand why it keeps
asking me to verify. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You.

did you change the port #? if it still fails, delete the acct and try again,
following the instructions step by step.

Default Configuring my gmail e-mail account in Office 2007

I'm having the same problem with my gmail.

I just upgraded to Outlook 07 from Outlook XP and gmail stopped working. I
have checked the ports, tried running the troubleshooter etc. I then deleted
the account and started again but I get the same problem.

Someone Help!!!!!
